Flight Attendants Beware!
Does $1,100.00 sound good to you? Well, unfortunately, you will not be receiving this amount of money, you will have to pay the FAA this amount if you are caught with an out of date in-flight manual. The maximum FAA issued fine is $1,100 per revision/bulletin, per page, per flight
that you flew with an out of date manual. Since this is a federally imposed fine, the fine will follow you even if you are no longer employed with this company. So, please make sure you take the time to keep your in-flight manual updated.

NASA-ASRS Reporting Forms
Have you experienced an unsafe occurrence or hazardous situation while flying the line? You can contribute to aviation safety by filing your report with NASA-ASRS. When ASRS receives a report describing a hazardous situation which might comprise safe flight, an alerting message is issued. Alerting messages take a variety of forms, but they have a single purpose; to relay safety information to individuals in a position of authority so that they can investigate the allegation and take needed corrective actions. ASRS has a new website
where you can download reporting forms. The site location is: http://asrs.arc.nasa.gov (see direct link at
"Related Links").
You can find a multitude of information regarding the ASRS program and other aviation safety related topics. Check it out!
